GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

RECOMENDACIONES PARA LOS AUTORES: 

• El contenido del trabajo debe ser original e inédito.
• El documento debe presentarse corregido, sin faltas ortográficas o de estilo.
• No se publican textos con contenido que promuevan algún tipo de discriminación por razones de raza, género, orientación sexual, religión, origen étnico, nacionalidad. La revista no se hace responsable de las opiniones de los autores o lectores.
• La Revista E-balonmano.com: Revista de Ciencias del Deporte se reserva la facultad de introducir las modificaciones que considere oportunas en la aplicación de las normas de publicación, de lo que se informará oportunamente. Los originales enviados no serán devueltos. 
• Los artículos serán sometidos a revisión a través del sistema de envíos en línea de la revista.
• Para los envíos vía "online" debe utilizar el sistema automatizado de la revista [Para ello es necesario registrarse]. Esta opción le permitirá conocer en todo momento el estado de su artículo.

DOCUMENTOS DE ENVÍO: en el envío deberán adjuntar tres documentos.

• Manuscrito: deberá adaptarse a las normas Apa 6ª edición para publicaciones periódicas [Lista de Comprobación para Envíos Online]. El texto debe presentarse en formato digital (preferentemente .rtf o .doc). El texto debe ser enviado con el formato de texto lo más neutro posible (Sin sangría, letra Arial, tamaño 12, interlineado doble). Se recomienda no superar las 8000 palabras. El documento garantizará en todo momento el anonimato de los autores. Vea las instrucciones para confeccionar el manuscrito. [Descargar Plantilla]
• Documento de identificación con el siguiente contenido:

-     Título del artículo en Español e Inglés (si el artículo está en portugués también deben incorporar el título en esta lengua)

-     Identificación de los autores con nombres y apellidos, en el orden y en el formato que quieren que figuren en el artículo si fuera publicado, identificación de la filiación profesional de cada autor y número ORCID de cada autor.

-     Dirección de correspondencia que figurará en el artículo.

-     Los autores deben declarar las fuentes de financiación del trabajo a publicar (Esta información se incluirá en la versión publicada del artículo). [Descargar Plantilla]

• Carta dirigida al comité editorial con el siguiente contenido, el cual se recomienda enviar en un único documento en PDF [Formato disponible en web]:

-     Solicitud de evaluación del artículo

-     Certificación de la originalidad

-     Cesión de Derechos y firmada por todos los autores

-     Especificación de la contribución que ha realizado cada autor en la confección del trabajo a publicar. 

MANUSCRITO:

En la Primera página deberá aparecer:

• El título del artículo en español (debe ser breve y representativo de su contenido seguido del título en  inglés y opcionalmente en portugués. Para artículos escritos en portugués es necesario colocarlo en primer lugar. La extensión recomendada del título es entre 12 y 15 palabras.
• No identificar a los autores. 

En la Segunda página deberá aparecer en el siguiente orden: 

• El resumen en español (no debe tener más de 200 palabras) seguido de las palabras clave en español (entre 3 y 5 palabras clave). Se recomienda emplear palabras diferentes a las del título.
• El resumen en inglés, abstract, seguido de las palabras clave en inglés, keys words
• Opcionalmente podrá colocarse el resumen y palabras clave en portugués. Para artículos escritos en portugués es necesario colocar el resumen en esta lengua seguidos del resumen y palabras claves en español e inglés. 

El cuerpo del artículo:

• Debe estar escrito preferentemente en español, portugués o inglés.
• Evitar las notas al pie. En caso de no ser posible, deben figurar al final del texto.
• El texto de los artículos de observación y experimentación se dividen habitualmente, pero no necesariamente, en los siguientes apartados: Introducción, Método (recuerde incluir los aspectos relacionados con la ética de la investigación), Resultados, Discusión, Conclusiones, Aplicaciones prácticas y Referencias. 
• El texto puede estar acompañado por ilustraciones, tablas, figuras, fotos, gráficos, croquis en formato digital (.jpg, .png, .bmp o .gif) en color o blanco y negro. Deberán colocarse en el lugar que desean que aparezcan en el manuscrito. Se recomienda emplear el formato Apa 6ª Edición para elaborar este material complementario.
• La bibliografía es obligatoria. Sólo debe aparecer la bibliografía utilizada para el artículo y citada dentro del texto. Utilizar las normas Apa 6ª Edición. Añadir los DOI de los artículos que lo dispongan.

Lista de comprobación para la preparación de envíos

Como parte del proceso de envío, los autores/as están obligados a comprobar que su envío cumpla todos los elementos que se muestran a continuación. Se devolverán a los autores/as aquellos envíos que no cumplan estas directrices.

1. El envío no ha sido publicado previamente ni se ha enviado previamente a otra revista (o se ha proporcionado una explicación en Comentarios al / a la editor/a).
2. El fichero enviado está en formato Microsoft Word o RTF.
3. Se han añadido direcciones web para las referencias donde no ha sido posible añadir el DOI.
4. El texto tiene interlineado doble; el tamaño de fuente es 12 puntos; y el tipo de letra es Times new roman. Usar cursiva en vez de subrayado (exceptuando las direcciones URL); Todas las ilustraciones, figuras y tablas están dentro del texto en el sitio que les corresponde y no al final del todo.
5. El texto cumple con los requisitos bibliográficos y de estilo indicados en las Normas para autoras/es, que se pueden encontrar en Acerca de la revista. Normas APA.
6. Si está enviando a una sección de la revista que se revisa por pares, tiene que asegurase que las instrucciones en Asegurando de una revisión a ciegas) han sido seguidas.
7. Han incluido una carta con el siguiente contenido: Identificación de los autores, Solicitud de evaluación del artículo y Cesión de Derechos  incluyendo la siguiente sentencia:

• "Los autores certificamos que este trabajo no ha sido publicado ni está en vías de consideración para su publicación en otra revista. Aceptamos las normas de publicación de la Revista. Asimismo transferimos los derechos del presente trabajo a la E-Bm.com: Revista de Ciencias del Deporte con ISBN 1885-7019", firmada por todos los autores. Se recomienda enviar la carta en PDF

AUTHORS’ RECOMMENDATIONS:

• The content of the paper must be original and unpublished.
• The document must be submitted corrected, without misspellings or style.
• Texts with content that promote some type of discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or nationality are not published. The journal is not responsible for the opinions of the authors or readers.
• The EBM-J Sport Sci reserves the right to introduce the modifications it deems appropriate in the application of the publication guidelines, which will be informed appropriately. Originals sent will not be returned.
• The articles will be submitted for review through the online system of the journal.
• For online submissions, you must use the journal’s platform [Registration is required]. This option will allow you to know the status of your paper at all time.

DOCUMENTS TO SUBMIT: three documents must be attached to the submission.

•  Main Manuscript: it must be adapted to the Apa 6th edition standards for periodical publications [Checklist for Manuscript Submission]. The text must be presented in digital format (preferably .rtf or .doc). The text should be sent in the text format as neutral as possible (no indentation, Arial font, size 12, double line spacing). It is recommended not to exceed 8000 words. The document will guarantee the authors' anonymity at all times. See the instructions for writing the manuscript. [Download Template]
• Title Page with the following content:

-     Article title in Spanish and English (if the article is in Portuguese, they must also include the title in this language)

-     Identification of the authors with names and surnames, in the order and the format they want them to appear in the article if it were published, identification of the professional affiliation of each author and ORCID number of each author.

-     Correspondence address that will appear in the article.

-     Authors must declare the sources of funding for the study to be published (This information will be included in the final version of the article). [Download Template].

• Letter to the editor with the following content, that is recommended to send in one PDF document [Format available on the web page]:

-       Article evaluation request

-       Certification of originality

-       Assignment of Rights and signed by all authors

-       Specification of the contribution that each author has made in the preparation of the work to be published.

MAIN MANUSCRIPT:

On the first page should appear:

• The title of the article in Spanish (must be brief and representative of its content followed by the title in English and optionally in Portuguese. For articles written in Portuguese it is necessary to put it first. The recommended length of the title is between 12 and 15 words.
• Do not identify the authors.

On the second page it should appear in the following order:

• The abstract in Spanish (must not have more than 200 words) followed by the keywords in Spanish (between 3 and 5 keywords). It is recommended to use different words from the title.
• The abstract in English, abstract, followed by the English keywords.
• Optionally, the abstract and keywords can be placed in Portuguese. For articles written in Portuguese it is necessary to place the abstract in this language followed by the abstract and keywords in Spanish and English.

The article body:

• It should preferably be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English.
• Avoid bottom of the page notes. If this is not possible, they must appear at the end of the text.
• The text of the observation and experimentation articles are usually, but not necessarily, divided into the following sections: Introduction, Method (remember to include aspects related to research ethics), Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Applications, practices and References.
• The text may be accompanied by illustrations, tables, figures, photos, graphics, sketches in digital format (.jpg, .png, .bmp or .gif) in color or black and white. They should be placed where they want them to appear in the manuscript. It is recommended to use the Apa 6th Edition format to prepare this complementary material.

Shipment Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify that their submission meets all of the items shown below. Submissions that do not meet these guidelines will be returned to authors.

1. The submission has not been previously published or previously submitted to another journal (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the editor).
2. The file sent is in Microsoft Word or RTF format.
3. Web addresses have been added for references where it has not been possible to add the DOI.
4. The text has double line spacing; the font size is 12 points; and the font is Times new roman. Use italics instead of underscores (except URLs); All the illustrations, figures and tables are inside the text in the right place and not at the end of the whole.
5. 5. The text complies with the bibliographic and style requirements indicated in the Authors gidelines, which can be found in About the journal. APA rules.
6. If you are submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, you need to make sure that the instructions in Ensuring a blind review) have been followed.
7. They have included a letter with the following content: Identification of the authors, Request for evaluation of the article and Assignment of Rights including the following sentence:

• "The authors certify that this work has not been published or is in the process of being considered for publication in another journal. We accept the journal's publication regulations. We also transfer the rights of this work to E-Bm.com: Sports Sciences with ISBN 1885-7019 ", signed by all authors. It is recommended to send the letter in PDF.
